A Statement Addressed to the Taxpayers of Scotland
from Chris Coverdale 28 February 2024
To The People of Scotland:
I am writing to you, the people of Scotland, on a matter of serious concern and to ask for your help in informing the Scottish Parliament and other people of Scotland that your taxpayer funding which is funneled from Scotland to be sent directly to Westminster – to the centralised Parliamentary Consolidated Fund – is being used for criminal purposes in contravention to multiple International Laws which have also been enshrined into British Law. To continue paying these taxes, is to be complicit in the crimes for which the taxes are used, including but not limited to, the illegal wars of aggression waged by successive UK Governments.
Since 2001 our political, civil, judicial, military and corporate leaders have broken most of the major domestic and international criminal laws that govern war and the use of force and in doing so used £1.2TN of taxpayers’ money to wage, supply, support or take part in illegal warfare and the mass murder of innocent civilians in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, the Yemen, Ukraine and Palestine.
Successive UK Prime Ministers and Attorneys General have deceived Parliament, HM Military Forces and the public for decades over the illegality of war and its’ funding. Their claims that the use of armed force is legal are false. War is never legal and causing the deaths of people because of their nationality is genocide.
Since 2001, Britain’s political, civil, judicial, military, medical, financial and corporate leaders have started, funded or taken part in seven military and three medical genocides in which 2.2M people have been murdered, 4 million have been seriously injured, homes and livelihoods have been destroyed and at least 20M refugees have been driven into exile and destitution.
These are the worst crimes ever committed by British citizens and they must be stopped
International and domestic criminal law governing warfare, genocide and their funding include:
- United Nations Charter (1946) Article 41: Measures not involving the use of armed force.
- Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court: International Criminal Court (Scotland) Act 2001: It a criminal offence in Scotland for a person to engage in genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes or conduct ancillary to such crimes.
- Convention for the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism by enacting the Terrorism Act (2000) where Terrorism is defined as ‘…the threat or use of firearms or explosives endangering life for a political or ideological cause...’
Terrorism Act (2000):
15 (2) A person commits an offence if he receives money or other property, and intends that it should be used, or has reasonable cause to suspect that it may be used, for the purposes of terrorism.
15 (3) A person commits an offence if he provides money or other property, and knows or has reasonable cause to suspect that it will or may be used for the purposes of terrorism.
15 (4) In this section a reference to the provision of money or other property is a reference to its being given, lent or otherwise made available, whether or not for consideration.
Whosoever shall aid, abet, counsel, or procure the commission of any indictable offence, whether the same be an offence at common law or by virtue of any Act passed or to be passed, shall be liable to be tried, indicted and punished as a principal offender.
Terrorist action outside the United Kingdom which involves the use of firearms or explosives, resulting in danger to life is also terrorism.
The actions that every corporate and government tax collector and taxpayer in Scotland must take now to halt the genocides and prevent their recurrence.
