The growing public revolt against Council Tax racketeering in Britain is a principled one with many facets, but this just cause can be difficult to understand at first, especially for those from abroad. This convoluted property tax emerged in the early 1990s from the wreckage of the Poll Tax, a flat-rate regressive charge on each adult — for merely being alive. The Poll Tax turned out to be so unpopular that it caused riots, and was enough to unseat Margaret Thatcher, one of the most powerful politicians of the 20th century. Something else had to be invented to fill the gap in local government finances...

According to The Tax Payers Alliance, the average UK household will pay £1,101,255 in taxes over a lifetime - the lion’s share being made up of income tax, VAT, national insurance and council tax. Further taxes include alcohol duty, inheritance tax, petrol tax, road tax, airport tax, property sale tax, tax on cigarettes, capital gains tax…the list is endless. Soon there will be a new Green Tax and of course the ghost tax caused by the devaluation of the pound courtesy of QE.

It is apparent the UK Government has failed the people and not performed their constitutional and sovereign duty… There are many examples where the government has vandalised the constitution and actively moving against the people who elected them. Considered by many as a series of unlawful and treasonous acts; acts for which the people have the right to hold them accountable.
